Poet Jack Gilbert dies at 87

BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 13 (UPI) — Noted U.S. poet Jack Gilbert, beset by dementia years ago, died Tuesday at 87 of complications of pneumonia, friend and fellow poet Bill Mayer said.
